I’m Aaraam (ARR-RAH-AHM)! ⚡️⚡️

I’m addicted to the color green, eating Mexican food, and Sza.

I hold an Ed.M. in Learning Design from Harvard University and a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. I believe that education is critical to design, because understanding how people learn is integral to ensuring that users can have delightful and impactful digital, educational, and emotional experiences.

I am an absolute nerd when it comes to learning about human behavior. This was sparked in high school when I worked with bereaved children as a grief support mentor. I carried this interest into my undergraduate studies where I researched belief formation and certainty at the Kidd Lab at UC Berkeley. Throughout university, I found a passion for using empathetic research to solve complex design problems to ultimately improve human experiences, leading me to the fascinating world of user experience research.

I love connecting with people from all around the world and learning about their stories. As a user researcher, I have the privilege of learning about their dynamic anecdotes, inspiring journeys, and nuanced tribulations to create impact in the world.

When I’m not studying human behavior, you can find me reading coming-of-age fiction, practicing my Spanish, listening to my Spotify Discover Weekly, and taking care of my lovely pothos #plantdad.
